2025 JWF Annual Meeting:
The Isaac Agree Downtown Synagogue

On May 14, 2025, The Jewish Women’s Foundation held their Annual Meeting at the Issac Agree Downtown Synagogue.  In their newly renovated fourth floor room at the synagogue, JWF Trustees enjoyed the JFS Mind University exercises led by Lynn Breuer and Yuliya Gadelynko of Jewish Family Service.

Women Lighting the Way 2024:
As Featured in the Jewish News

On Nov. 13, the Jewish Women’s Foundation of Metropolitan Detroit’s (JWF) annual event, Women Lighting the Way, was held at The J-Detroit in partnership with the Detroit Jewish Book Fair. Julie Satow, an award-winning journalist and author, discussed her new book, When Women Ran Fifth Avenue: Glamour and Power at the Dawn of American Fashion. Marni Raitt, executive director of the Detroit Jewish News Foundation, was part of a conversation with Satow.

Ensuring a day of processing for the Israeli Infants Survive and Thrive program through Israel’s National Milk Bank, MDA. Housed within MDA’s Blood Services Division, the Milk Bank is responsible for the entirety of the process beginning with donor screening and collecting, safety testing, processing, storing and distributing milk to babies in need whose mothers cannot produce or provide milk due to various complications or other issues.
