Assisting Ukraine’s Holocaust Survivors

In 2019, Jewish Women’s Foundation granted money to the Survivor Mitzvah Project. The Survivor Mitzvah Project (SMP) is a humanitarian effort providing direct and continuous financial aid through an emergency aid program to elderly Jewish holocaust survivors. (62% of them our women). The SMP has direct contact with the Holocaust Survivor, which reduces their anxiety and feelings of isolation in addition to providing them with financial aid.
Recently, the founder, Zane Buzby was recognized as a CNN hero for her work helping the elderly in Ukraine.
